Bardsdale Cemetery has a history that dates back to the late 1800's. Located in an unincorporated area just south of Fillmore, California, Bardsdale's history, location and aesthetics are what makes it so interesting. The cemetery is supposedly haunted by a group of siblings and a woman in white. Four of the siblings were believed to be victims of a flood from the neighboring Santa Clara River but were actually victims of avian flu. The other sibling died a few years later of unknown causes. There is no information about the death of the woman in white besides rumors which is why there is so much mystery surrounding her. The cemetery itself is surrounded by citrus orchards in a secluded corner of Bardsdale and besides a few small signs, it would be easily passed by and unknown by the average person.
