Smoke seems infinite in every sense of the word: the pattern you see in it, the way it seamlessly moves through the air around it and even the color. Although hazardous in nature, smoke gives off a hypnotic, calming sensation of being comparable to letting yourself daydream or making shapes out of clouds on a lazy Saturday afternoon. There is an impression of uniqueness created by this in a way. I feel that a truly random event such as a smoke photograph enables the imagination in ways that are rarely matched.
